[ she hadn't bothered to look for him when she'd seen the pod he'd gone into, assuming he'd just gotten up and out faster than her - but if he wasn't with clarke...

he's not. i haven't seen him since before we got in the pods.
he usually meets me afterwards but i looked and i can't find him anywhere. i was hoping that maybe you knew where he was. [she can't help but be worried and if octavia thought he was with her? she has a bad feeling about this if only because she confirms her suspicions]
[ it honestly hadn't occurred to her that this could happen. finn disappeared on them, sure, but this is bellamy, and unsurprisingly octavia is starting to panic.
a few minutes later, another message comes through: ]
he's not answering his stupid device thing + his locker looks untouched. where have you looked? if we spread out we might track him down faster
[ because obviously he's lost, not gone, right? right. ]
[clarke knew leaving was possible given what happened with finn but she never expected it to be that soon or that bellamy would be the next one of them to leave either.
people have said they go home but clarke never could shake the feeling that this place was an alternate version of mount weather. that maybe people are unsuspectingly being taken to parts unknown within the ship when they disappear or get lost that forces the communication signal to get cut from the devices much like what happened with the grounders. the reasons for something similar in this place could be different but her paranoia about it still stands, not that she voices that concern because it's not something she can confirm either and well it will only make people think she's losing it or cause unnecessary panic]

[clarke stubbornly wants to believe he's still here and that she didn't just lose him too but the logical part of her knows went through the same process with finn so after another minute she sends another message] octavia, i think he might have gone back home.
